In recent years, Project Sweet Peas has expanded its outreach nationally, and we are always in need of volunteers to help us carry out our mission. Virtual volunteering removes the barriers of distance and allows flexibility to work with your schedule, so that you can offer your passion, skills, and expertise to make a difference.
Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness (NICA) Month Coordinator
We are currently seeking 1-2 volunteers interested in advancing the efforts of our worldwide initiative, Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness Month. Help us grow our community of support, inspiration, and empowerment.

- Build and manage relationships with NICA month sponsors and other constituents
- Serve as an administrator on Neonatal Intensive Care Awareness Month social media (including facebook and/or twitter)
- Facilitate meaningful dialogue with constituents

- Strong writing and editing skills
- Social media experience
- Marketing background
- Fundraising experience
- Strong Interpersonal Skills
Grant Committee Volunteer
Commitment: 5-10 hours per month

- Research government, foundation and corporate grants
- Establish and maintain working relationships with grant funders
- Assist Board of Directors with the writing and submission of the grants
- Comply with all grants as required by corporate/foundation donors
- Maintain accurate records in database of all grants and donations
- Track statistics relevant to development and report metrics and data to donors as needed

- Strong writing and editing skills
- Grant research and writing experience
Promotional Committee Volunteer: Social Media
Are you experienced in social media development and engagement? Are you interested in giving back to the NICU community? We are looking for a volunteer to assist with our social media outlets. Help us grow our community and support more families in the process.
Commitment: 10-15 hours per month

- Promote events, awards, fundraisers, miscellaneous items upon the request from the Board of Directors and volunteers

Bereavement Volunteer
We are looking for an enthusiastic volunteer who wants to give back to the Pregnancy and Infant Loss community. Volunteer must be a team player and become an active member of our organization and bereavement committee.
Commitment: 15-20 hours per month
