Writing as a Refuge
A Guided Journaling Series for NICU Parents
6-week email series written by Kristin Vanderlip in collaboration with Project Sweet Peas
Purpose: To offer present and veteran NICU parents a place to process their experiences and emotions through reflective and expressive journaling.
Writing as a Refuge is a 6-week email series designed to support NICU parents—whether currently in the NICU or reflecting on their experience—through guided journaling. Rooted in compassion and grounded in healing practices, this series offers a sacred space to pause, process, and make sense of your experiences through journaling.
Each weekly email delivers a thoughtful reflection with therapeutic prompts. You’ll also receive a guided video experience that you can return to again and again.
