Grant Volunteer application

Grant volunteers research, identify, respond and track grant opportunities that meet the needs of Project Sweet Peas.

Expectations
Monthly time committment of 5-10 hours
Location: Anywhere, this is a virtual position

Becomes knowledgeable of Project Sweet Peas organization history, mission, etc...
Stays informed with current organization programs, activity, and goals
Assists with fundraising efforts

Promptly responds to emails
Active in Slack communication app
Submits monthly report on volunteer hours & activity

Responsibilities may include:

Research foundation and corporate grants
Establish and maintain working relationships with grant funders
Assist Board of Directors with the writing and submission of the grants
Comply with all grants as required by corporate/foundation donors
Maintain accurate records in database of all grants and donations
Track statistics relevant to development and report metrics and data to donors

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong writing and editing skills
Grant writing experience
Strong interpersonal skills
Strong Research skills
