Please join MJ's Memories, a division of Project Sweet Peas, in remembering those lost to miscarriage, pregnancy, and/or infant loss on October 15, 2012 at Lake Shawnee Shelter #1. October 15 is a National Day of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness and MJ's Memories is dedicated to help families who have had to say goodbye to their babies too soon. The Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Ceremony will begin at 6:30 pm, which check-in starting at 6 pm. Participants will be able to release a Floating Candle on to Lake Shawnee in memory of their baby(ies) gone too soon at the conclusion of the ceremony.

Participants are highly encouraged to pre-register for a $5 discount on the Remembrance Package.

The Remembrance Package will include:

A Votive Candle
Floating Candle to release
Tissue Pack
Information on Pregnancy and Infant Loss.

All proceeds from the event will support MJ's Memories mission of providing comfort to families with children in the intensive care units and to those who have experienced pregnancy and infant loss. MJ's Memories provides care packages and memory boxes to families at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, KS, Children's Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, MO, and to individuals on a request basis.
